Barbury Show

Barbury Show in 2013

Following on from the tremendous success in 2012, Barbury International is proud to host the Show again in 2013.

The Barbury International is delighted to announce that for the 4th year the Show will also feature over the Saturday and the Sunday (6th & 7th July).  This year it has a completely new layout and feel.

With a feast of displays and demonstrations from Wiltshire’s agricultural, craft and food industries there will be something for all the family.

The Festival of Food & Drink, featuring some of the very best cookery demonstrations with locally sourced produce should wet any food lover’s appetite.   There is a fabulous food marquee buzzing with innovative ideas, so that you can sample and purchase food and drink that can be sourced locally and across the country. Come and be inspired.  We will also have a Cookery Theatre and celebrity chefs, doing daily demonstrations.

Alongside the festival will be an array of trade stands, a real shoppers paradise. Come and find products that are not available on the high street, something for everyone; a retail extravagance.

This event is also perfect for the grandkids and granddads alike the Show will demonstrate the modern and the traditional farming techniques that are employed across the county featuring a host of farm machinery including tractors, combine harvesters and vintage machinery.  In addition, there will be displays of sheep dog trials, lamb racing nationals, flying birds of prey, gun dogs, hounds and much more.

Nigel Bunter, the owner of Barbury Castle Estate said “It has always been our aim to grow the event and provide a wider family day out and we are thrilled to be hosting the Show again in 2013.  2012 was a great success and enjoyed by everyone.  We aim to make 2013 bigger and better with more to do and more to see”.

With tickets purchased in advance at £12 per person and £18 on the gate with under 12’s going free, the Barbury International featuring the world’s top event riders combined with the Show offers fantastic value.
